About the Chef

Krongjit 'Kacie' Chatuparisoot is deeply passionate about her traditional Thai culinary
arts. After being trained by the head chefs of the Royal Palaces of
Thailand, Ms. Chatuparisoot has over 20 years experience in the elegant
art of Fruit and Vegetable Sculpture, one of the highest forms of art in
Thailand reserved exclusively for the King and royal family. Through her
company De Royale, Kacie's artistic talents shine forth in her original
fruit and vegetable centerpieces, unique hand-carved soap flowers and
beautiful Zen-style flower arrangements. Clients from local mountain
communities such as Vail and Aspen as well as international locations such
as Altstadtladen Gift Store in Feldbach, Austria have engaged her services
for exclusive weddings, parties and special events.
As
a Thai chef, Ms. Chatuparisoot is the founder of Royal Thai Kitchen, a
line of packaged Thai soups for retail. In addition for the last five
years, she has been vice-president of Juvel International, Inc. a
Colorado-based fair trade company that specializes in premium handcrafted
culinary and house ware products that support small village artists in
Thailand.
Ms.
Chatuparisoot teaches Thai Cooking, Flower Arrangement and the Royal Art
of Fruit and Vegetable Sculpture. She is an invited Chef to culinary
schools and International Wine and Food festivals to teach and demonstrate
her privileged skills
